  Attempted to update to grub2 version 1.98-1ubuntu9 via synaptic,
  update hangs on when trying to update /etc/grub.d/10_linux (I think?)
  - killed the script, tried sudo dpkg --configure -a, and I get:

  "Setting up grub-pc (1.98-1ubuntu9) ..."

  and it hangs again.
