Title:
No confirmation for crash report uploads
Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When crashes occur in stable releases before, apport appeared and let
us add a report (which was a bit akward as I often do not know what I
did before the crash happened), but now it appears that nothing
happens and I was suspecting that apport crashed. Out of this thread,
it seems it is supposed to be like that:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ubuntu.qa/2221
I suggest to add a confirmation message or progress window to indicate
that the crash report has actually been uploaded, or that it is
uploaded in the background without any user interaction.
