Title:
help text subject to misreading; put recommended/not-recommended
marker inline in list of target devices

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

Hi, upgraded my laptop to maverick today; unlike my desktop this one
  had glitch(es).

One in particular, I got asked a question

  'install grub to ...
  sda
  sda1'

With help text telling me that installing to sda was a Bad Idea.

So I selected 'sda1', clicked continue and the process continued
  without error.

On reboot, the missing symbol 'grub_xputs' was reported.

This is on my laptop - bog simple disk layout.
