Title:
Crashes while installing after Who are you screen
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I am new to Ubuntu (an ex-windows user) . Tried as live cd seemed to work good. Already have Linux Mint installed but it has a few problems so decided to run Kubuntu in parrallel with it and then then switch to Kubuntu when i got it setup ok
Installation goes ok partions set up and process steps through to who are you screen. I allow copying of the files at the top of the screen to finish after filling out information. Clicking continue brings up a smaller screen telling me the installer has crashed and to report the bug . When this screen is closed it seems to revert back to live cd situation and sets it self up as that.
I did not about the bug reporting guidelines below and being new probaly would not be able to find them or attach them. Sorry but I don't believe I have been much help to you at all
