Title:
Not clear what "update this installer" will do

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I tested the install for Lucid last night and I was unsure what the
"Update this installer" button would do. I'm trying to imagine this
from the perspective of a new user and I think it's quite an unusual
feature to offer in an OS installer so we can't necessarily assume
  it's obvious what it'll do.

  Maybe something like:
"If you have an internet connection, you can use 'Get updates' to download the latest versions of Ubuntu software during the installation process. Alternatively you can skip this step and use the Update Manager after installation instead."

It's a great idea; it just needs a simple explanation to go with it.
Perhaps a mention of whether it's inadvisable to use Wifi for
  updating, if that's an issue?

  Jonathon
