Title:
plymouth shows ascii text instead of logo whenever I boot the computer
while using wayland on my Radeon HD 6450
Status in plymouth package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When I was booting up Ubuntu, I expected the splash-screen to show
without issue. However, instead i saw ascii text saying "Ubuntu
18.04", and this happens every time I boot using Wayland on my Radeon
HD 6450.
I expected the regular bootscreen to happen instead.
Workaround:
Use Xorg, not Wayland.
