Title:
Back button disabled in configuration during 9.10->10.04 upgrade

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

While upgrading from 9.10->10.04, I was prompted to configure grub-pc.
I was unclear about selecting a device to install grub to since it was
already installed in Karmic. After click forward, I saw the attached
screenshot and realized I needed to select a device. But, the Back
button was disabled - it was not clear that if I left the checkbox
unchecked and clicked Forward, it would take me back to the previous
  screen.

Needless to say I had a moment of panic thinking that I wouldn't be
able to boot my system after the upgrade completed. Please provide a
better explanation in the debconf window to help prevent confusion
when users fail to select a device to install to. Thanks.
