Title:
grub missing part of dual boot functionality

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  computer: dell studio 1535 laptop
  ubuntu 10.04 beta1 (at least I think it's not beta2 already)

After installing ubuntu 10.04 with update-manager -d and then
restarting the computer all Ubuntu kernel boot choices were still
present, but Windows Vista was missing and Windows Vista restore
  didn't boot the operating system.
