I got this error "Error showing url: Operation not supported" when I

  Ubuntu Release
  ---------------------
  Description:	Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
  Release:	10.04

It try with another default webbrowser, it's the same with Opera,
Google Chrome. I always got the same error, I think it's the url
handler (the program which handles the url to ask the webbrowser to
open it which have a problem)

  UPDATE
  --------------------
I've noticed that when I use xdg-open in gnome-terminal, it always output : Error showing url: Operation not supported
