Title:
apport <pid> on running process should take backtrace!

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apport

When apport is run from the command line against a (hung) running
process, it uploads tonnes of information but fails to upload a
stacktrace! Such a stack trace can be collected using some equivalent
  of:

    echo -e thready apply all by\\nquit > t ; gdb -p $pid -x t >
  stacktrace-$pid.txt

Ideally apport should take the time to upload a stracktrace as this
would be far more useful that the other miscellanea.
