Title:
  Bootloader error and no way to continue while installing Xubuntu Natty

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I tried to install from Xubuntu Natty Alpha 2 Desktop CD with following partitions using Virtualbox:
  /dev/sda1 on / btrfs (around 5GB)
  /dev/sda2 on swap (around 300MB)

  It tells me the boot loader can't be installed on /dev/sda and asks me what to do. I can choose:
  * install boot loader on /dev/sda
  * install boot loader on /dev/sda1
  * continue without boot loader
  * abort installation

  No matter which one I select, hitting the OK button has no effect. I
  had to hard reset the machine.

  Tried grub-install on TTY2 before reseting, but didn't work (see
  screenshot)
