Title:
“Invalid problem report” dialog after refusing to look at problem
report
Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: apport
From time to time apport notifies me of a detected problem (not sure
what, I think it’s something related to suspend; I’m running Natty,
and something’s always causing trouble, though I can’t quite tell
what). I think it’s basically after every resume from suspend and
after every apt-get update.
As I don’t want to report the problem, I click Cancel in that dialog.
The problem is that always apport displays an “Invalid problem report”
dialog afterwards. It shouldn’t do that, it should just shut up and
ignore the problem. (The message is wrong at any rate: the problem
report is not invalid, as if I don’t cancel the first dialog and give
my password to access it, everything works correctly.)
