Title:
update-grub2 needs to *not* ignore -ec2 kernels
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: grub2
In bug #671097, it was determined that update-grub2 needs to ignore
-ec2 kernels. Now that Xen can boot from a grub2 configuration with
pygrub, this behaviour is actively harmful. As it is, our Ubuntu 10.04
VMs can not manage their own kernels under Debian 6 Xen. Can #671097
be reverted, or an override flag added to the blacklisting mechanism
in /etc/grub.d/10_linux?
