Title:
grub ignores startup manager with last update

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
With the "99" updates I downloaded yesterday, grub ceased to pay any
attention to Startup Manager's settings again. It always defaults to
the first item in the list now. This was working correctly until the
updates I downloaded 8 days ago. Please leave comments in the source
code for someone to quit breaking this.
