Title:
bug patterns for retraced stack traces won't work
Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When writing a bug patterns one probably wants to make it is as strict
as possible and to that end would write the pattern for the retraced
Stacktrace. However, this patten won't work because when the bug is
being reported the Stacktrace has not yet been retraced.
As an example see the following merge proposal:
https://code.launchpad.net/~roignac/apport/bug-647802-pattern/+merge/91055
The pattern only matches bug 647802 with its retraced stacktrace, and
none of the duplicates match.
I don't believe there is a way to fix this but thought it was worth
reporting just in case.
