Title:
Booting grub via pxe takes about 10 to 20 Minutes

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
With an older version of grub (1.98) this was not the case: about 20 seconds, now about 20 minutes.
The new image was created using "grub-mknetdir". For the old version the same command was used.

With version 2.00~beta 4 it is again at what is expected: less than 20
seconds. Seems there is a bug with pxe booting within grub 1.99. Colud
we please go up to version 2.00~beta 4, even if it is a beta version?
Even if there might be problems with the newest grub --- only loading
grub from network taking from10 up to 20 minutes is a showstopper in
  certain environments!
