Title:
Problem report keeps the user in the dark

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When a crash report exists, I am greeted at system start-up with a
windows that says: "There is a system problem. Do you want to report
it now?" It does not give any clue about what that problem is.

I expect that window to show what problem it is referring to.

For example, I had an updating issue with a package from an external
repository (MariaDB in my case), which was easily solved by following
the suggestions made by apt-get. So there was no issue. However, at
the next system start I was confronted with this "problem" that was
not a problem. Only by looking in /var/crash/, I could see that it had
  to be this issue.

Also, this window leaves me the choice between filing a report (bad
option in this case) or cancel, which means postponing the report
  (also a bad option).

I would like the opportunity to see that the problem presented at
start-up is one I already solved, and NOT report it. Preferably in or
from that same start-up window. I managed to delete the problem report
by deleting the file in /var/crash/, but that is not exactly newbie-
  friendly.
