Title:
Installer Crashed at wizard screen
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Every time I try and install Kubuntu from the live cd I get en
"installer crashed" report at the Language screen. If the error
doesn't come up and I click on Forward then it just locks up after the
two little dots spin for awhile. Pretty much most of the report seems
to be about it trying to pull the error itself, the only line that
seems to point to an error is the last line that reads....
"IOERROR:[Errno 32] Broken pipe"
The cpu will run Kubuntu off the live CD very very slowlyl!!! But it
just won't install.
I have no way to recover the whole report, and it's tool long to type
out the whole report.
The line before that reads:
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/debconf.py, line 69, in command self.write.write("%s %s\n" % (command, ' '.join(map(str,params))))
IOERROR:[Errno 32] Broken pipe
