Title:
Problem in Ubiquity The problem cannot be reported: Your system
partition has less than MB of free space available, which leads to
problems using applications and installing updates. Please free some
space.
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Everytime I try to report a bug in the Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal livecd, I keep getting a message saying that I don't have enough space remaing. First its just this:
Problem in Ubiquity The problem cannot be reported: Your system partition has less than 0 or usualy 29 MB of free space available, which leads to problems using applications and installing updates. Please free some space.
Then I get annoying pop-ups saying this even though every time I select to not show any warnings again and to ignore:
"This computer has only 0bytes of disk space remaining.
Free up some space bt removing unused programs or files, or by moving
files to an extenal disk."
I used unetbooting to install the iso to my usb with 9Gib of space.
Using the Startup Disk Creator makes me unable to boot to the USB
because the system states that it's unable to resolve host ubuntu. I
got that message during installation process of from the livecd also.
For the / directory properties, it stated that the contents are "952,510 items, totalling 140.7 TB
(some contents unreadable)".
Properties for /Target :
"Free space 12.3 GB"
The Disk Usage Analyzer says that 100% of / is taken with 100% being
/Target with 10.7GB. proc taking 100% of Target has a size of 0 bytes.
