Title:
Invisible installer dialog on VM iso installation

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I noticed this behaviour for a while now (at least Trusty is affected
as well). This may also happen on real HW in some cases. Though then I
think the message is not completely invisible but unreadable (only
  coloured splotches).

Testcase: VM (KVM guest with Cirrus graphics (the default)). Using the desktop install iso (64bit), normal SeaBIOS. After the installation is complete the GUI displays a dialogue to reboot the system. Pressing the button to proceed will initiate the reboot sequence. At some point the installer would show a dialogue to remove the installation media and then to press enter. This does not happen. In the VM case the screen looks like in the screenshot.
It is possible to press enter and proceed, for that reason it is only a minor issue. Just a bit confusion for anybody not used to it.
