Title:
LTS version number needs updating on install splash screen
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in ubiquity source package in Lucid:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
When installing 10.4.1 i386 Ubuntu and Kubuntu - the installation splash screen just said the release was 10.4 LTS.
Release version should be changed to match the actual version of the LTS release.
Specific images where this was seen were from 8/17 on:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lucid/daily-live/current/lucid-desktop-i386.iso
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/lucid/daily-live/current/lucid-desktop-i386.iso
Colin requested this be made note of so it can be fixed for 10.4.2.
