Title:
Ubiquity's "simple" partitionning screen always asks you which drive
to use
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
As seen in the attached screenshot, the simple partitionning screen
offers you what drive you want to use. But in my case (and a lot of
people, I suppose), there is only one disk! Why not simply say "Ubuntu
will be installed in given drive" or even "Ubuntu will be installed in
the only hard drive of this computer"? (since a lot of people won't
even know what the hard drive name would mean)
I'll fix this in a bzr branch, but I first want input from developers
and designers. So share your opinions :)
