Title:
Installer asks to connect to wifi even though wifi is already
  connected

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Before I started the installer, I connected to the Internet via wifi.

Step 1 of the installer is the language page. Step 2 confirms the
basic system requirements, web connectivity, and whether to install
updates and/or MP3 support. Step 3 offers to connect wireless.

However, web connectivity was already verified to be working in step 2
("is connected to the Internet" had a green checkmark). The installer
definitely shouldn't be asking to connect to a wifi network when I'm
  already connected.
