Title:
installer fails, hangs on drive with multiple operating systems, swap
  on lvm

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
trusty beta 2. Drive has boot partition and LVM partition with
multiple operating systems and swap on lvm (/dev/vg/swap).

  boot and run installer.

  "Installation type

This computer currently has multiple operating systems on it. What
  would you like to do?"

  select "Install Ubuntu alongside them"

  click Install now.

"Failed to create a swap space The creation of swap space in partition
  #6 of SCSI3 (0,0,0) (sdb) failed"

[fails if no swap partition exists (tries to create swap partition on
/dev/sdb which is the booted usb drive)]

It hangs here. Clicking "OK" in the "Failed to create a swap space"
error dialog does nothing. Trying to force close the window (x) does
  nothing.
