Title:
  grub wouldn't install

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
wouldn't install grub after I accidentally tried to install on a
partition(sda5 with boot flag) instead of the MBR as i didn't want my
laptops recovery info lost i.e. hold f11 or 0 when power on to
reinstall windows or backups etc, but obviously i cant do that so
then I tried to change it back but it kept refusing to install but i
got it by sudo grub-install /dev/sda. I did notice some driver errors
flash up while this sent but regarding Nvidia but ill see when i
  reboot
