Bug description:
3 days ago unity/compiz dissapeared. Attempts to restore via dejavu
and duplicity failed. Today attempted new install to another partition
on hd and retain 19g /home. Installer failed.?? In the mean time w7
barfed...and had to repair via cd. smart tests on hd's passed without
problem. BTW dejavu backups are on separate hd on this machine.
Do not know how to attach files to this as I am in the installer...
