Hello,

I have Ubuntu 20.04 running on a computer based on AMD Threadripper
3960x, TRX40 platform (Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS PRO). Audio hasn't worked so
far.

I read about audio problems on this platform from the beginning but they
should be fixed in kernel 5.6 according to this

Since it should be fixed in recent kernel versions, I guess the solution
for Ubuntu 20.04 using 5.4 kernel is backporting the fixes.

Is Ubuntu planning to do this?
