Indeed, it can be an issue with the Snap Store. Using an other computer with Ubuntu 16.04 (no Snap), the Software Center displays the license right.

  Wrong Software License Displayed in Software Center

Status in usb-creator package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  In the Ubuntu Software Center, the Startup Disk Creator summary shows
  it's license as "Proprietary", when actually it is GNU GPL v3. The
  same problem appears on both versions, GTK and QT.

  My system info:

  - Package: usb-creator-gtk  Version: 0.3.7
  - Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (Focal Fossa)
