Title:
Ubuntu 20.04 lvm with encryption hang on reboot

Status in plymouth package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I've installed 20.04 with lvm and encryption. When rebooting, or powering off and back on, the dell latitude e7470 laptop gets stuck on an ubuntu 20.04 splash screen. I have to power off again or press ctrl+alt+del to get the encryption password prompt and be able to boot back into the system.
This issue does not occur when installing ext4 with no encryption.
I've attached my boot.log file if this helps. Happy to provide more information if needed.
