Public bug reported:
After an update, my computer will no longer boot. I only see a black screen. No grub menu. After a couple of forced restarts, the file system gets corrupt. This happens both on XUbuntu 18.04.4 and 19.10.
I am not sure if it had something to do with RAM upgrade or was it just a coincidence that I replaced a 4GB RAM module for an 8GB module and the next day my computer would not boot after an update. With clean install to any version everything works fine.
