have tried lots of reccomends including manually checking the partitions,
always get this failure. Only one drive on this netbook, completely devoted to this install.
Cannot get through install even with minimal system

  When I try to install ubuntu (distro 14.04) from a usb bootloader, at
  the end of the process,I got an error ''the installation of the
  package 'grub-efi-amd64-signed' is impossible.Without grub, the
  installed system won't load''.
