[Bug 1893281] [NEW] While Installing Ubuntu Workstation 20.04, grub failed to install, not sure why.

Public bug reported:

Installing 20.04 Workstation over a successful installation of 20.04
Server, and grub refused to load, cancelling the install and leaving an
unbootable Workstation install. Disk checks showed a good 160 GB hard
drive. All other diagnostics showed good to go on this HP Pavillion
which started life with Windows 7. Wish I knew why exactly the
Workstation install failed when the Server install succeeded.
