[Bug 1872136] Re: The system issued several error-messagens while upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 20.04. I have the photos of the messages. If the informations sent to you by the system aren't enough, e-mail me. And I will send you them all (11 error message displays). Apparently most of stuff are ok. But, maybe the error messages are usefull to you. By the end of the instalation process I ot a message, kind off: Your system may not be opereational.

I suspect the start of the upgrade failures happened around here:

2020-04-10 15:19:29,411 ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg: 'libpam0g': '10.9677:installed libpam0g:amd64 package post-installation script subprocess was killed by signal (Segmentation fault), core dumped'
2020-04-10 15:19:29,411 DEBUG running apport_pkgfailure() libpam0g: 10.9677:installed libpam0g:amd64 package post-installation script subprocess was killed by signal (Segmentation fault), core dumped
2020-04-10 15:19:29,610 ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg: 'libpam0g': '10.9677:installed libpam0g:amd64 package post-installation script subprocess was killed by signal (Segmentation fault), core dumped'

Do you have a syslog file which covers the time frame in which you
upgraded?
