Title:
  5.1 audio does not work

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Hello,

I am using Ubuntu 19.10 with 5.1 surround speakers.
I tried to configure 5.1 surround, but it still doesn't work.
  I also installed Pulse audio.
Here is the info about my soundcard:
  # aplay -l
**** Lista PLAYBACK de dispozitive ****
placa 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], dispozitiv 0: ALC892 Analog [ALC892 Analog]
    subdispozitive: 0/1
    Subdispozitiv #0: subdevice #0
placa 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispozitiv 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
    subdispozitive: 1/1
    Subdispozitiv #0: subdevice #0
placa 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispozitiv 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
    subdispozitive: 1/1
    Subdispozitiv #0: subdevice #0
placa 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispozitiv 8: HDMI 2 [HDMI 2]
    subdispozitive: 1/1
    Subdispozitiv #0: subdevice #0
placa 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispozitiv 9: HDMI 3 [HDMI 3]
    subdispozitive: 1/1
    Subdispozitiv #0: subdevice #0

  See 'lscpi -v' output attached.

I tried the test below and instead of center speaker, right speaker
plays two times and the subwoofer do not work at all.

Please let me know what other details you need.

  Thank you!
