Public bug reported:

Hi all. Somewhat old Ubuntu user here who caught the Linux bug again,
and thought I'd give 18.04 a go. Last time I'd installed Ubuntu, I'd
just put on the target computer's hard drive, but this time around I
wanted to do something different: installing a full copy on a flash
drive.

Now, initially, for about the first half hour or so things seemed to be
going smoothly.....but around 40 minutes in, I noticed this peculiar
error: "Write Error in swap file"(or something to that effect), and
after that Ubiquity seemed to just hang there until it crashed about 10
minutes ago.

I did end up looking this up online while I was trying to figure out
what was wrong, and apparently this mainly seems to be a problem when
you've run out of hard disk space-I did use up all my available space
when setting up the partitions initially, so maybe that wasn't the best
move?

In any case, hopefully I won't run into anymore problems.
