Title:
reproducible shutdown on Xubuntu 19.10 live session
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
use rufus to create a 10 GB persistence pen drive(San Disk Ultra Fit).
then boot into it(don't press anything at selection menu), and open
terminal.
enter 'lspci' or 'sudo lspci' in terminal. wait a few minutes.
screen goes black. then a few messages appear. then xubuntu shuts
down.
this was reproducible, so I tried it a few times to write down the messages. couldn't get a single entire message, so here's a few examples gathered that way.
```
xorg[2551]: failed to idle channel 2 [Xorg[2551]]
nouveau 0000:01:00.0: tmr: stalled at ffff
```
```
xorg[2536]: failed to idle channel 2 [Xorg[2536]]
nouveau 0000:01:00.0: tmr: stalled at ffff
```
the system is 'MSI GL63 8RE 455IN', nothing exotic.
