This bug was fixed in the package aptdaemon - 1.1.1+bzr982-0ubuntu22

  * Use PackageKit's socket-activated debconf helper (LP: #1726068)
  * Fix failing tests and disable ones we do not care about anymore (PK/PEP8)
  * Make failing tests fail the build again
  * Drop python2 support
