I haven't seen this when I have followed the 18.10 and 19.04
development.

  No restart after installation

Status in casper package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  New installation of Ubuntu 17.10 with ISO from 20171015.

  After the message that ends with Restart Now. There is a system hang after this information:
  7.616392 sd 3:0:0:0:0 [sdd] No cashing mode page found
  7.616393 sd 3:0:0:0:0 [sdd] Assuming cash: write through

  When Ctrl+C is entered the system restarts.
  The Installation is OK.

  Installation from the "live session" is working OK.
