I just upgraded the kernel in disco-proposed
I can confirm this affected me too ...
fenris at X240:~$ uname -r
5.0.0-8-generic
fenris at X240:~$ sudo update-grub

Its make me difficult to choose / boot into another OS because I'm running dual boot ..
Really appreciate if this bug can be assigned a.s.ap

Hi guys
On the Boot splash screen, Grub does not show the 5.0 kernel installed.
The same has been installed and appears in the terminal by sudo update grub and synaptcis, see attachment.
