That might very well be the case. Nonetheless, the YYYY-MM-DD date
format is never used in real life, by Danes. Source: am a Dane myself
and have lived here all my life.
Having expressed my disagreement with your choice of date format, I
would only like to know then, how I might be able to create my own,
custom date format for use in Ubuntu?
