Same problem in Trusty 14.04.6 LTS with latest kernel 4.4.0-142-generic...
Since in the thread says that a fix has been released, I'm a bit confused

  When updating kernel to 4.2 there appeared a fault in loader.o:
  /var/lib/dkms/ndiswrapper/1.59/build/loader.c: In function ‘load_sys_files’:
  /var/lib/dkms/ndiswrapper/1.59/build/loader.c:157:4: error: implicit declaration of function ‘__vmalloc’ [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]
      __vmalloc(load_driver->sys_files[i].size,
      ^
  and the module failed to build for kernel 3.19.0.32
