Please note: the package is elementary-icon-theme, however when I try
to select that package in the bug reporter, i get the following message
(have tried waiting):

Sorry, something went wrong with your search. Trying again in a couple
of minutes might work. (Error ID: OOPS-8d80495a1fce50039808450d1db713b0)

Title:
WARNING: icon cache generation failed when installing elementary-icon-
  theme

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
WHen installing elementary-icon-theme, receive the message:

gtk-update-icon-cache: The generated cache was invalid.
WARNING: icon cache generation failed for /usr/share/icons/elementary

I believe this is because there is a folder with a space in the name:

  root at howard:/usr/share/icons/elementary# find ./ -name "* *"
  ./status/48/untitled folder

After removing that directory, the cache is created successfully:
root at howard:/usr/share/icons/elementary# rm -rf "./status/48/untitled folder"
  root at howard:/usr/share/icons/elementary# gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/elementary
  gtk-update-icon-cache: Cache file created successfully.
