  Netplan unknown key bridges

Status in nplan package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I'm trying to set up a network bridge for KVM but I keep getting a the
  error,"Error in network definition //etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml
  line 5 column 0: unknown key bridges."  The funny thing is line 5
  column 0 is network, not bridges, so I'm not sure why it is saying
  bridges.  Here is the .yaml I'm trying:
