Unfortunately there is a lot of missing information from this report,
like which ubuntu release, or package version.

This can all be easily attached to the report by running this command
from the machine where the crash occurred:

sudo apport-collect -p samba 1791538

  The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action,
  was called for PID 4795 (/usr/sbin/smbd).

  This means there was a problem with the program, such as a segfault.
