Status in ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  It's really hard to read the orange text on the orange background -
  even with the shadow added.

  A solution would be to use another color than orange or to add an
  overlay to darken the background.
