  Software updater lists NO software to be updated but says "updated
  software is available"

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Software updater pops up (as normal) saying "updated software is
  available for this computer", but the "Details of Updates" section is
  blank.   See screenshot attached.

  This is possibly a security risk as if I press "Install Now", I will
  be installing unknown packages, which I am not keen to do.
