[Bug 1799856] [NEW] Software Boutique crashes after applying fixes

Public bug reported:

After Software Boutique installed the software I selected I clicked
"fixes". After checking for incomplete and broken packages, I clicked
"More Software".

What I got was a list of "Software" and "Synaptic Package Manager"
repeated 3 times. (Before installing apps, the list occurred only once.)

Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS (just reinstalled when 18.10 went into meltdown).
