Could you please run 'apport-collect 1798216' as that will gather log
files from your upgrade attempt? Alternatively please add /var/log/dist-
upgrade/main.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log as attachments to
your bug report.

  Upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04 fails with message "Aborting"

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I am trying to upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04 and the process fails
  without displaying any error messages (it just says "Aborting") so I
  cannot troubleshoot. I have seen Bug #1775883 but I do not have any
  PPAs installed (based on   ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d    at least)

  Can you please help me debug the problem?
