Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The upgrade of grub failed during upgrade from xenial to bionic.

  During the upgrade process I was presented a graphical debconf window with the devices to install grub on, but the elements in the list (sda and sda1) didn't have the checkboxes they were supposed to have to select either of these.
  I still clicked next and got the warning that I was not going to install grub, then clicked next again and it cycled to the initial window.

  In the end I closed the window and the upgrade continued.
  Later in the upgrade process I was presented with the grub device choice again, and this time it was functional.

  I think I remember seeing gtk / gdk warnings so I think something in
  the toolkit stack was broken the moment debconf tried to make me
  choose a grub device.

  I can see 2 bugs :
  - The broken / non functional debconf window at some point in the upgrade process.
  - Why did I have to get this question in the first place for the upgrade ?
