Title:
Cannot copy files from NTFS in Jaunty even as root..."permission
  denied"

Status in ntfs-3g package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ntfs-3g

The summary pretty much says it all. I'm trying to copy my
Thunderbird files from XP to Ubuntu, but I get a "Permission Denied"
error every time. I can't even copy the files to a flash drive. I've
tried doing a sudo cp but still get the same error.

Nautilus is standard x64 in Jaunty. I've added ntfs-config tool.
I've also tried setting permissions for the folder. I don't have
problems copying other things (so far).
